Welcome to 2022

Posted on Fri December 31, 2021.

2021 wasn’t all bad , we’re still alive for goodness sake , and without the journey through 21 we could never have got to 22

To label 2021 as ‘bad’ would be flying in the face of gratitude - the gratefulness of just being alive , And hey, there were other great things too - like all those examples  so many family and friends and everyone else out there set in their application of the ‘Johnny Walker’ mantra: “Keel Walking” no matter what the world throws at you. Plus for us there was that added amazing thing : everything that happened after the motorbike trip that lead to an oddly named and very broke hotel in a dorp I’d hardly heard of . And that auctioneers banner on the wall : ‘auction Wednesday’ 😳.

The image attached of two Barrydalers by Barrydale analogue maestro Graham Abbott says it all in terms of the move into 2022: away dull care . Out with the boring and the predictable - and all that negativity . Out of the rabbit hole we go ! Across left field , Into a new era of creative possibility and individuality . All aboard the rocket ship of 2022 everyone . Now to light the fuse …💥❤️🌟🦋🎊🎏🎉😎💪🤙👍🖖.🙏!

The town of the year is worth more than just a one night stop

Two journalists had checked in the night before. It was a our Christmas party. We were closed for the day.
