Helen Van Stolk took our ideal of the hotel as a creative salon and made it a reality

At the flick of a switch Cape Town artist Helen Van Stolk filled the entire hotel with a group of top artists and sculptors with no agenda beyond just a shared time of inspiration and talent, fulfilling a long held dream that we'd become a home from home for people of this ilk.

Al ot of people are landing up at the hotel in response to a Barrydale accommodation search or as a midway stop on Route 62 between the Garden Route and Cape Town and we are ever grateful to these road trippers for their support but there is true satisfaction in a full blown hotel immersion . Thank you Helen and all yoir artists for your time with us.
